Healer

THAT TITLE IS ALREADY COOL LOOK AT ITTT!!! I must talk about this Korean drama that I just finished watching. Its a really thrilling drama even just from the very start of the first episode it was already at climax. That's what really attracted me to continue watching and of course the LEAD is damn charismatic! I like the song that always come up when he is doing his mission in a swift and smooth manner. His action are speedy and he don't leave any traces! HMPH THOSE SCRUMBAG he has to deal with and he barely have any scratches on him (woo), only until the later scenes where they used dirty tricks so he got deeply injured.

Through an interview, I realised it must be hard for him to be on the wires for some of the action scenes he has to do while looking cool. I liked it when he is in his mission attire cause I know he's going to do some cool moves!! Oh my oh my, and that specs he has is really cool as well, it can take pictures, send and received datas.

The female lead was not bad too, I like her bubbly personality and crazy action sometimes making dramatic to the next level.

I was anticipating a fan meet of the LEAD to come Singapore since this was quite a new drama and HE'S GOING TO!!! When I saw his commercial on the television, I literally went high while I knocked down a nearby chair in process that was in my way to the TV. SUCH DEFINE FEATURES! HOPE I CAN GET HIS TICKET!!!

Camp turns into Daytime

3 day 2 night Aerobics camp turned into a day camp due to HAZEE which I am kind of elated as there won't be a need to think of what to pack and NO BURDENNS! Just a light-weight bag and off I go!

Typical day 1, ice breaking games and introducing ourselves. Through their brief introduction about themselves and what they did during the holiday, I found that they were the same kind as meee!!

Question: "What is your hobbies?"
Answer: "Drama/ sleep" etc

Question: "What did you do during your holidays?"
Answer: "Nothing much just sleep/staying home after an event"

Answers might not be fully accurate as I forgot some of the sentence

It was quite unexpected to see two guys when I first reached, as I already thought to myself aerobics will just be all girls. They need more guys to join this, so its more equal in gender. Here comes a part of an activity called Circuit. Upon hearing it I didn't know what it meant, after some of the seniors explained about it, we knew it was one of the hell exercises we had go through after our lunch break. It was basically doing different exercises according to stations in one direction. There would be timing for each station, we had to keep doing it repeatedly until the teacher tells us to proceed to the next station.

One of the ice breaking game called, "Honey will you smile for me?" where we were seated in a circle. One person would have to go around and say this sentence to people, one at a time and try to make him/her laugh. If you managed to, then they would replace your position. This was awkward for me as I don't go around saying mushy stuffs like this plus intentionally acting silly or funny to make others laugh. SO I failed to make anyone laughed except for one that laughed easily but I can't constantly pick her. The room was full of silence and the awkwardness in me was building up, spilling over the entire room. It was just pathetic me going around already thinking there was no use of making them laugh with whatever strategy so I am just deadly repeating that sentence and hoping time flies and they would stop the game or call out another person.

For circuit training, we actually have an adult which is a teacher whom guide and taught us the proper way of doing a particular exercise. I am not sure whether those were aerobics exercises. Before we started the circuit, we did a 20 minutes warm up at the gym like on the treadmill or those stationary bicycle before proceeding into a room which was within the gym itself.

Day 1 set of exercises: Hamstrings, planking, squats, some weight-lifting and other exercises which I forgotten the name. ANDD stretching (includes some yoga poses) after all the intense exercises. After the stretching, the teacher and some of the seniors helped us pressed some acupuncture points at the hamstring area while we lied flat facing the floor. Hearing all the hysterical crying of pain LOLL which was rather entertaining when watching until you got to tried it yourself.

Music was blasting through the room while we were doing those exercises. It felt rather tiring and many felt like giving up in the middle of it. The after process was rather satisfying as we managed to pull it through. When doing a round two for the circuit, the teacher said we did better than first round as with have gained more strength but I think its the opposite cause we were losing strength. So, shes might just be trying to encourage us. BUT MEH it felt good to get praised! Everyone looks like they still have the energy to continue so for some instances when I felt that I am at my limit I would still try to force myself to carry on or it might be abit paiseh. OH and if we stopped without doing to the best we can, there would be penalty which we got 21 push ups after the exercise. The funny thing is my push ups can't go down. Whereas, its normally people can't go up. Need to get those demm strength in there. The last part was the best as we get to lie on the mat and just close our eyes and rest, with the soothing music. Recharging ourselves from all the intensity earlier on.

YOU KNOW WHAT.. During lunch break was where we realised with signed up for a AEROBIC TRAINING CAMP not just Aerobic Camp so it was meant to be tough stuff. Mannn I didn't knew it then but I guess I would still go.

-Day 2, haze no camp, end of story-
There would be breakfast together for those who wants and doing yoga poses afterwards! Some said we need to let the food digest for 3 hours before we can start yoga. Woo was disappointed and glad at the same time. Day 2 is usually where the most fun comes from and I was ready to face the challenges that would come in my way. Our muscles was hurting almost everywhere. It starts hurting during the night time. I was still thinking hmm why am I not feeling any aching after all that exercise. BUTTT the mightiness just have to last this short.

Day 3, there was no teacher this time round and we did it in..... what was that place called again? Oh well, its just some air-conditioned room but not too strong. IT'S circuit again but this time round a different group of exercises which are cardio. WOO I like cardio ones as I find that its more effective than just running or those other workouts. Due to our still aching muscles, the circuit this time round was more challenging for us.

Burpees, mountain climbers, high knee kick, skaters, shuttle run. We did this for two rounds in 45 minutes.

The entire process was too, tiring, but was once again glad that I completed it but of course with many occasions where I took short rest in between the exercises. We had PIZZA for lunch after excising! The games were quite alright but I didn't quite like the last day where we played games in separate groups. As we were supposed to bond with each other not create a division. Games like throwing different sizes of coins from a distance into a plastic container and do a skit with a song with the lyrics changed.

It would be better if it can be a 3 day straight training or not...? Good thing is our body muscles could rest for a day. We had BBQ session the next day after our training ended. We would be meeting for 4 days straight! The BBQ food was FOC and it was at sentosa!! The sentosa part was the more lucrative part for me as I have been yearning to go there this year as it was free entry because of SG50!! I had not been there for yearsss!! BUT as we were lingering at the BBQ area, the sky darkens and by the time I finally get to set off and go to the beach it was almost pitch black which was not what I anticipated. SO I NEED TO GO AND HAVE A REAL FULFILLING EXPERIENCE AT THE BEACH again! I didn't have to do much stuffs as our seniors were doing most of the job, cooking and preparing the food for us for the entire day. I ought to learn how to set up the BBQ pit too! Whole day was basically eating and no games were played at all surprisingly.

Got to try or see new kind of food for BBQ like pizza, scrambled eggs, garlic bread, burger, fish, fish balls and they even boiled water to cook the korean spicy noodle. I wanted to try the spicy noodle for quite sometime but didn't had the feel at that point of time and plus so many people was sharing it. One of them mixed marshmallows with scrambled eggs, who would have thought of a combination of that? But I dare not try loll. We left at about 9 plus and on our way out I saw the empty road and of course the typical me suggested to take a shot while lying down on the road. I was expecting a solo shot but ended up a few joined in so it ended up as a group shot. How frequent do you get to lie down on the road!

Da Pizzass!!

Looking like some village

The orh lulu beach but I like the texture of the beach and the softness of it when you stepped on it!

OH ABOUT LIFE

YOOOHOOO PEOPLE!!! GOT DA FEEL TO TALK ABOUT LIFE! My current school life is rather hectic as after an assignment there would be another assignment or an upcoming assignment while you are on an assignment. See see so many assignments! I only get to catch a really short breather after common test ends as new work are waiting for me on the other end (Nuuu I shall take the other path) and next, exams period would be coming. The schedule is just so tight!

TIP: Being optimistic about this whole thing will make you pull through all these better! Even though there is definitely times you feel like giving up!

I often missed people that I interacted with even for a short period of time. I would keep thinking of the fun and good moments I spent with them. It was short lived but I enjoyed being able to spend time with them. Knowing that after that, we are going to go back to our own life again. Sounds so sad, like after that one rare opportunity of interacting for a particular event ends, we would not be able to meet up again. Occasionally, I would missed them wondering if they do while I recall the memories in my mind or when I am scrolling through pictures we took. If we could all keep talking to one another and be able to meet up from time to time, how nice would it be! Some examples would be the camps I joined before, people I worked with for some of my part time jobs and doing projects with people from other courses. These are precious moments that we should cherished as after an event you don't have any excuse to be able to meet up!

It always feel good to be able to see my pals again after a long period, just with their presence alone. We would have a short catch up of our life and just enjoying the moment talking about random stuffs. I also like those coincidence times where I get to see my friends outside and have a short talk.

A tiny something about me is that, I think that my energy pool will run out as soon as I am too energetic for a short period of time. Its like my energy pool is like a container that stores my energy so once it runs out I will feel a bit drain. So usually I can only be hyper for awhile! That is my thought of my energy level. Like socializing also drain my energy, PFT!  Once it runs out, bye I am back to the calm me.

TILL THE NEXT DON'T KNOW WHAT TIME! ~~

Cool me signing off ~

TRICK

I RECOMMEND THIS SONG BY TRICK, I discovered one of their cover on fb and decided to check out on their other covers. This particular one is rather refreshing to hear & to look at and I like the simplicity of their videos. Some of their videos have a nice backdrop illuminated by LED lights. Current favourite song WOOO! It's a good combination where the song has a rap part in it too! I would be so elated if I can get to hear them live!!

Their names are Marc Lian and Richard Jansen

April School Reopen

NUUUUU the day where most people dread... I became the class representative once again which I kind of sabo myself. At first, when the teacher asked who wants to be the class rep and the class as usual goes "Kellinnn". I was defending myself by waving my hand in the air as a rejection but the teacher took this opportunity and he goes " Oh! You raised up your hand, so you're the class representative." He purposely mistook it lor! Maybe he knew nobody wants to be. I was saying "Oi don't sabo me hor!" then GGWP became class rep again despite me reasoning that I had already taken up the role for Year 1 and we should give the chance to other people. Obviously, teachers win most of the time! He said, " Year 1 is Year 1, Year 2 is different!". Me (in mind): "WTFFFUUUU, ITS NOT, PLEASEE". Anyway, got points so ok lah, fine I shall be it for the next one year or one semester!

The first lesson was just introduction about Arboriculture (Plants related) telling us about stories related to trees and to get our interest towards it. Next, after an one hour break it was our next design lesson and luckily it was a really brief intro and short distanced walk around the campus to take some perspective photos (OH NO GG! Time to do work next week) for our first assignment. See the word 'perspective' sounds so chim already, you can already foresee me suffering for the coming days! AH NI YO!! (An informal way of speaking in Korean: Nooooo)

Two of the the teachers for today I know them, one I had seen him before but he had never taught us before the other taught us during our first year, first semester.

We were released early at 1 plus instead of 4 pm so we headed earlier to the CCA fiesta (where all the ccas congregate in one area to showcase about themselves and pull 'fresh' (freshies/ year 1) people to join them, mostly is for year 1 but year 2 and 3 are welcome too I guess). It was damn hot and chaotic over there, I kept perspiring! Visited some of our friends' booth to chit chat for awhile. I signed up for 2 CCAs which are event base which means when they emailed you about certain events, you can sign up for it only when you are free, if you are not, you choose not to go. Good thing about them, I don't have to stick to a certain schedule which is more flexible for me as I don't know when I am free or not! Visited some of our friends' booth to chit chat for awhile

Went to visit my CCA booth ahhh look at those artistic photos with me inside! Memoriesss~

First day of lesson learning these stuffs!

Treetop Walk & Singing

On 15 April 2015, I finally met up with my poly friends for the first time during our holiday before school starts! It was also the day I finally got my new phone after years, my old phone had problems like memory low. I am a apple (iphone) user so for a change I decided to go for samsung (android) to see the difference. It was quite a headache when I first received it as it was really different from what I originally had. Due to the impromptu purchasing of phone in the morning, I could not make it for Korean BBQ (SAVE MONEY!!) so I went to join my friends for Teo Heng only instead, it is a karaoke place. Instead of singing for the first part of the session, we or me kept getting distracted by my new phone. As they wanted to have a touch of it and me trying to explore its functions.

For most of the time, we talked instead of sing as we had a lot to catch up on since we haven't been seeing one another for quite long but there isn't any much juicy news just things like them being in camp trainings or going overseas during holiday. We had a 3 hour session in the LARGE room and it was big though YDS! After that we went to KFC to had some yogurt and this time round I tried passion fruit flavour and had some toppings for it. Previously, I thought adding toppings would have extra charges so I always go for just the yogurt itself. So we chit chatted as usual for awhile and went to Daiso for a walk and some of us got a nice box for ourselves to put our stuffs! As the box was nicely decorated with cursive words.

On 18 April 2015, VSSKYC went to da Treetop Walk YO! LOL the name just rhythms with this. We met up for McDonald's breakfast (AHH MY HOTCAKES!!) to fill up our belly before going. The 9am meet became like 10 plus or much later that I can't remember now (Nuuu no more fresh air to breathe in). The weather was rather hot when we were on our way there. Luckily, when we reached our destination it was not that sunny anymore.

There's lack of signs to direct you to the location so we followed where our instincts brought us to and YEAP we were right! The place was rather ulu and the pavement was uneven and not properly paved so it's sort of like a nature let loose place. I will show some pictures so you can get a clearer idea of what I am saying.

There were lots of climbing, up the slopes, down the slopes, wooden staircase up and down and many more obstacles like rocks, pebbles and monkeys (there were many of them appearing along our way) on the ground. Making it harder to walk and you should constantly looked at the ground to keep your balance in case there was this random huge block of rock protruding from the ground that intercepts with your way. Best part of the trip were us doing cheers to liven up the long journey so that it was not so bored to merely walked through the entire thing in silence. Sharing the cheers we learnt from camps and singing random songs like kiddo songs. There was only one toilet area after travelling a long distance and you would also passed by a majestic looking place in which they said looks like hunger games. Another part was, randomly stopping at some location to take nice photos (we spam, like having photo shoot) and asking strangers for help to take group photos for us. So far all the people we asked were quite kind. One group, which we assumed to be foreigners, even requested to take a group photo with us with my camera and their phone.

Let me share with you some of the epic things that happens as our journey continues. As I looked up towards the sky I saw a monkey holding a yellow water bottle filled with water sitting on the branch. I was like "What is it doing with the bottle up there?" My friend warned me by saying," Later it drop down ah!" Seeking the advice, I picked up my pace and swiftly passed by the danger zone (LOL sounds like composition). Upon seeing the first monkey, Pearl let out a slight shriek and the initially leading in the front her, went to take cover of the person behind her to avoid the monkey. AND the cool me just walked passed it bravely! I could sensed or see from its eyes that it was also scare of us, so all of us were scare of one another, so I guessed it wouldn't attack me or something.

After quite awhile, we finally reached the Treetop Walk's bridge which we had been waiting to see! It was quite a distance to walk before eventually reaching. It was a one way bridge so once you enter there's no returning back and you would just have to use the exit on the other side. It was the bridge I saw people taking photos with and was rather excited to see the actual thing for myself. We could only pause for a while as there were other people behind us who needed to pass by too as the bridge was narrow and can only fit one person in a line. On our way out, it started to rain so we miserably squeezed under two umbrellas that we had. Funny ah, when I got bring never rain and when I did not it rained. So we chiong for a nearby shelter with a sign saying, " No trespassing ", who cares so much when there was not a soul in sight and it was raining heavily. We turned out to be inside of Singapore Island Country Club and it was all high class inside. There were people playing golf and buffet ongoing too!! It was my first time seeing people playing golf.

Next, we went to replenished our hungry stomach after a tiring walk. We had a fulfilling meal at Saizeriya for a reasonable price at HomeTeamNS. The glorious food ahhhhh, thinking about it I want to have some again! Next next, we had a impromptu decision to play Laser Quest WOOO!!! At first I was against the idea due to my previously bad experience of it. BUT this time round was a comeback for me, I GOT SECOND PLACE!!! Although it was just 10 minutes inside, the tension was high as you needed to watched your back and everywhere around you in the dark to prevent getting shot. Heng it was a team game!! It was 3 VS 3 and occasionally we would face off so we head on attack haha! The feeling was really shiok when you shoot them from behind without them knowing.

Our last stop was to have some ice cream at Val's workplace! We stayed there till almost 9 pm to decide on the photos we should upload and chit chatted. It was a fun day!

Our colourful shoes!

Rot at Ching Wei's house

We were too bored at home so we decided to go to Ching's place and rot(we're not actually rotting, it's just a term which means we are just chilling and not doing much). Ching ordered Macs delivery that includes nuggets, french fries and her Line toy! AWESOME now we could have a picnic while watching movie! I was excited upon hearing that Ching was going to order Mcdonald delivery because we would get to enjoy, talk and munch on something as well.

As we were seated in the living room, Ching's grandpa offered us some fruits so we ate it as well while we were having Mcdonald. The healthy fruits balanced up the unhealthy food that's what I said LOL. I was getting distracted by the Channel 8 show 118 and Life Is Beautiful 初一的愿望 when Ching's grandpa was watching it. After finishing, we migrated into Ching's bedroom (air-con on already woo) to continue our soft sounding movie (when in the living room) so that we could hear it louder and clearer. Freaking out at some scenes of Jaws, one scene in particular that caused us to jump and let out a shrill was when out of a sudden a man's face looking blue-greyish popping out of a rock. We were expecting a shark but it ended up to be a man, so we thought why this shark had a man face which led to the shock and he was opening his eyes widely.

After the movie ended, we decided to take a look at Ching's wardrobe and discovered her old primary school uniform. It looked so mini!! It can become a crop top now! We went for 'star gazing' after that for a short while and went back home. The End!

The Story Of A Green Tea Cake

As usual we would occasionally receive pastries baked by Ching! She have passion for baking so she kind of bake as a hobby and at the same time experimenting with different recipes. SO TO SUPPORT, we would tabao back the pastries she baked and bring back home to eat. We too would give feedbacks and comments on how we find it. Once in a blue moon, when I got feel to try baking I would ask for her tips and advices!

I got to try two slices of her new recipe: Green Tea with Strawberry Cake
It has a slightly milky taste like Meji milk (the green tea cream flavour) and not too sweet, just nice. I also like the slight chao da brownish part where the strawberries that were in between the layers of the cake sort of make it more refreshing when you are eating them together. Not so dry! I immediately gobbled down one slice on my own before anyone could take them.

Although it might not look appealing here as it had been put in a plastic box and became sort of compressed. BUT the taste was great! I seldom compliment on food as I am a picky eater. Continue bringing your baking skills to a higher level!!

We went for a 3rd short gym-ing session at Ching's place, where we were chased out and all. The limelight of this post is for the cake so no long stories about the gym part!

Grizzle Grind 2nd Anniversary

Grizzle Grind's rap workshop

After registration, as I was on the way to find the News Letter Room, I saw Shigga Shay right before my eyes! His squatting down looking at some speaker-like thing, I didn't really saw what it was. The first thing that came into my mind was, "IT'S SHIGGA!! HIS JUST OVER THERE BUT I CAN'T TAKE PHOTO WITH HIM, THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT TIMING!"

Meekly, I went into the room and the first word that came into my head was, "SHIT!". It was all guys and they were all well donned, majority hip hop style. I was there like ok I am just in my slippers, t-shirt and jeans. DAMN PAISEH!! I was thinking so this workshop only guys interested but heng after that got a few girls came in.

Before they came, just as I stepped in and took a seat (beside a angmoh woo), they were half way through doing self-introduction. The one before me, introduced himself something like "...I am a stage singer..."  then I was like "woah siao liao all got huge background one, then I am like a nobody there". So with a few seconds to think before my turn, I quickly rehearsed a few sentences of what I am going to say. My goes like, " Hi my name is Kellin, I have no rap background. I find rapping quite interesting and cool so I came here." I guess my introduction was sort of like that.

Charles (when he introduced his name I was like "Wa Charles~~ it have a certain aura and impact when his name was said, quite a unique pronunciation and he got this ang moh slang) was the one doing the talking at the start and Lineath (his name also quite unique, I didn't heard of such a name before. He's involve in the producing of music) later on, they are from the Grizzle Grind crew. The both of them were in charge for the Rap Workshop. We were seating in a circle arrangement. Occasionally, some of the other crew members would come in and join in at the back, where they were listening too. There were two of them that took photos and videos of us in the middle of the workshop.

I kept fidgeting in my seat especially my fingers. Like when you're nervous you would kept scratching your nails or touching your stuffs like hand phone case. Even the slightest movement, I felt like I was being watched under so many pairs of eagle eyes. AND I was the only one wearing slippers and the rest were in covered shoes. The workshop was rather short as it came to an end at around 3 plus from 2pm, I wanted to hear more from them. In their discussion, they were saying all sorts of weird terms or artists' names which I knew none of them so I was rather lost and confused.

I had more respect for the crew after today's workshop as it was not easy work to simply rap, rapping looks enjoyable but behind the scene it is actually tons of hard work, years of experience and efforts to it. Initially, I just thought that GGC was just a bunch of boys singing/rapping but it was more than that. They know their thing and put in hard work to all of their work. Most importantly, you could see the enthusiasm in them.

During the session, Lineath: "Any questions?". Me, looks into his eyes and used my mind to transmit the message that I have something to ask and open my mouth slightly. I rehearsed my question in my head too LOL cause I thought I did screw up my sentence if I did not repeat it in my head. My question was "For freestyle rapping, how do the lyrics just flow out from your head?" Lineath: "I am not really good at freestyle rapping but we have a pro at freestyle rapper here! (points to another guy)" which was Fakkah a comedian and he was asked to demo LOL. After that, they when into going in a clock wise direction where each person shows their rapping skills with songs they had written before or anything they want to rap. I guess you could already thought of what's on my mind, "Siao liao". As usual, Charles was the first to start off. Half way through his rapping I felt slight tears welling in my eyes (luckily never tears come out, how embarrassing it would be) as I got to experience a rap live in front of my very eyes from real rappers. I was in a room with many great rappers and I get to hear raps from them personally with my own ears, what an honour!! The groove and swagness of rapping that I always got the feels for them.

Lineath let us hear some of his random rap recordings that was in his phone. Woo not everyone can hear the raw recordings! Lineath: " Don't laugh ah!" One of the message they want to give us was just start by writing down the lyrics whenever you thought of one. Rapping includes, lyrics writing, production of the piece and performing it live is another completely different stuff. There are many different styles of rapping, it takes time for us to find out what kind of rapper we are. Like Charles, he focuses more on the lyrics with simple beats while Lineath and Shigga Shay does music that are more hyped. Some take a longer time to think of the bars, I am not exactly sure what bars involved. That's why I was confused even if they used simple music terms.

Here comes my turn, I just tried three sentences but not smoothly as I forgotten my lyrics that I came out with randomly in the past. I was afraid to share as I am 0% standard of a rapper. I like it but I don't have much real knowledge of what rapping is so I was afraid to rap in front of so many people. But I still did it cause I know I would regret not showing anything to them. Even though how paiseh I was feeling with not even half of the sentence said as everyone was listening intently to it. I even said shit halfway through. The attention was diverted to Fakkah when he sort of continued my song, it sounds not bad even though I can't really catch the lyrics.

As I was standing up and turning to leave for the door I gave him a slight smile as he returned a smile too (he was standing somewhere behind me), followed by "Why you so shy??". I told him I felt out of place as everyone was like... (don't need to finish the sentence, we kind of know what it means). After that he asked if I was going later on at night for GGC 2nd Anniversary celebration which I replied with a no as I came alone. I actually had some questions for him on our way out but the time seem rushed so didn't managed to ask. I had questions like "What do you mean by practicing? (He answered my earlier on question during the discussion. When Lineath asked if that answered my question, I just said yes as I don't really get it.) How do you practice your freestyle rapping?" and "How you guys do those hand gestures/arm movements when you guys rap?". After just merely saying that I am not going, I should have add on saying, "All the best for later!" I just said, "Thank You! Bye!". At least I get the chance to talk to him and see other crew members live!

Overall, it was a great experience to witness rappers rapping as I always find it really dope when people does so!

First Aid Course

Day 1

I was really dreading to go to school alone to attend this 3 day First Aid Course which was for my CCA. The hours were freaking long from 9am-6pm but they usually release us at around 5 plus.

I don't really know anyone there so I had to eat on my own during lunch time *sobs* so pathetic but thankful for the existence of the library's Internet cafe where I could eat there without looking like a loner. I already planned ahead before coming to school to know where to go during lunch time.
[Hotdog bun with egg (so cool!! I didn't know eggs could be cooked in the oven with a egg mould) and mayonnaise]

The first day was majority theories and awkward conversations (and looking for the Blk where the class is) which makes me want to quickly go home. I kept messaging my friends whom attended the course on the earlier dates, what would happen next, for reassurance and double confirming. That's how I make it through Day 1.

On the way home, on the bus I found a empty seat beside this old man but he sat in a diagonal way occupying part of the empty seat, making it hard for me to seat. This added on to my frustration of the day so immediately after I got off the bus I decided to buy salted chicken to munch on them so that I would feel better.

Day 2

Upon finding out that my current instructor was similar to my friend's one, I felt lighter as its the same style teacher that they had so the things he taught and did would be roughly similar. They were genuinely interested in the course so lessons were not boring for them. So thinking of that, I changed my perspective. Instead of worrying that I had no friend there, I should go with an open-mind where I go there to absorb knowledge, like signing up for extra courses to learn this and I should not give much concern about socialising. Just enjoy myself!

Day 2 was the best among the three as it was mostly practical. I got the chance to interact and work as a team with other people that I had not talked to. It was also more fun and easier to talk to people while we were trying to put on different types of bandages for one another. Laughing at the silliness/clumsiness while doing them. I like short breaks (about 15 minutes) as sometimes we could use this period of time to have short pleasant chat with the people sitting around you.

The test for this course was supposed to be on the third day but part of it (CPR & AED) was actually being accessed while we were doing them, which most of us thought it was just a practice for tomorrow's actual test. We were bewildered upon being told that we were being accessed without knowing. Luckily, we took it seriously since we had to practice for the actual test for the next day. Instructor:" I heard no complains from any of the instructors, so everyone has done well (sort of this sentence). " Feeling delighted that one major burden was off our chest.

During the practical 'practice' for the four stations, I get to experience the good leadership skill performed by the leader of our team. In which she was calm throughout the whole procedure and gave out accurate commands to the team to ensure good coordination. She gave her team proper instructions and did the correct way (complimented by the instructor). 1st station was the carrying of casualty (which I am the one, so relaxed lol) using sort of a yoga mat. It felt a bit scary thinking that I may fall to the hard ground from a height. I was facing towards the sky and it look so beautiful, I could see nothing else but only the sky with fluffy clouds scattered all over the place. With my sides blocked, my vision was focused only on the sky~

Upon heading towards the school bus stop, I see one of my team mates that I worked with earlier on so I when to tap on her shoulder and we walked towards the bus stop together. Just nice we board the same bus and alight at the same bus stop so we chatted about the day's events. So my Day 2 ended happily~

Day 3

This day was theories again!!! Which means boredom again. We had to practice bandaging early in the morning, in which I have not warm up yet. So I was again dreading the day and hope that it could quickly end. I thought there were no more practical tests but there were still bandaging test. Passed both the MCQ and bandaging test so I am glad that I had not wasted my three days! At least I learnt some bandaging tactics from the Instructor.

My table mate and neighbours were sharing about their band experiences while I am there trying to find things to do or occasionally 'hop' into their conversation. They were really enthusiastic about their topic! All the musically inclined people~

Just to add on to the day, our Instructor asked if any of us happen to see his silver or white MP3 player yesterday. AND he lost it........

The Auntie recognises me as the 'regular' customer for the straight 3 days whom came to purchase hot dog bun so she smiled at me while pointing to the half prepared hot dog bun for the other customer, whilst, I was approaching. I guessed another reason she could recognise me was because there was not many people present too since it was school holiday.

Favourite Idols

Happy Chinese New Year everyone!! Glad that its finally holiday now! Finally get to watch my favourite idols movie "Ah Boys To Men 3: Frogmen" yesterday (25/2/15, which is 初七) before all the spoilers kept showing. It was DAMN AWESOME AND TOUCHING!!! I teared a little during a scene when two of them were fighting and the words exchanged were so strong. Maybe by seeing the movie you don't think some of the part was truth but from their radio interviews, movie trailer and personal comments I found out that this movie really depicts the actual scenario portrayed in a Naval Diving Unit (NDU). As some of the actual naval divers actually commented on it that they were really grateful that this movie really shows almost the actual thing that they had really experienced during their past training days. Heard from the crews that the scenes they filmed, Jack Neo actually wanted it to look real so they really had to go through the entire process of the training! That was hell-like difficult! From the trailer you could really see the amount of effort they put in is till the max!!

This movie actually hit 2.8 millions views in just 4 days!! I AM SO PROUD OF THEM!!! They actually also had to get a Diver licence before they could filmed this movie. As they said, it let more people noticed and know about this Special forces in the SAF through this movie, as not many people including me know they existed or have such tough training like this. It actually made me feel like joining in LOL. I didn't know anything about this until I heard of this movie and I got to see how it looks like during the process and their graduation where they wore their diving suit standing in a row underwater while their family members watched them from outside with cameras in their hands. OMG I would really want to visit this special kind of forces' graduation or witness their training it would be damn cool !!! They actually had a kind of exhibition where you could go into their naval ships at Vivocity where it was hosted by Noah Yap and see the looks of the interior. I wasn't able to go, such a waste!! They follow three diver values : Honour, Integrity and Team Spirit.

You can also see how bonded they, as an entire team is, from personal issues to going through all the training together. The loyalty and Bromance between them!! Without exception, they had lots of hilarious and joker conversations and scenes for this film too which makes the entire movie even more enjoyable. From the release of all their previous films: Ah Boys To Men , Ah Boys To Men 2, The Lion Men, they all had funny jokes and comments in it! Tosh even secretly went to one of the cinemas to watch their own film to hear the live laughter from the audience which is one of the many things they truly enjoy from the fruits of their labour.

Thanks a lot for making this film for us to enjoy, I really appreciate it! Thanks for the tremendous efforts you guys put into this!! HOOYAH! ( a saying in NDU )
