H.S Gang

Waking up in the morning can be a tough task but its no longer that way if you have something to expect or look forward to. Health screening is (shall put it as present tense as its never the past) my holiday job introduced by my friend to her Uncle's company. Previously, I worked before but it was mostly administrative work, sorting documents all day in the office (during secondary holiday) which was long and tiring. However I still enjoyed my friend accompany as we could use that time to gossip and talk about random stuffs. I still remember being hesitant when I was asked to come back to work again when I am free cause the working time was like from early morning to unknown time till like 9pm(can't really remember)? I was trying to find something to do during my holiday and just nice my friend asked me if I wanted to work again as they needed more manpower so I decided to go for it again. Surprisingly, they had upgraded!! No more late nights, staring at computer screen and sitting down for long hours. Now everything is done by computer to record, send the results to the patients and no more mailing. Phew, what a relieve! I had a awkward start but soon it became more fun. My friend and her sister introduced some of their friends and their friends introduced their friends to work (I know its confusing...It's just friends introducing their friends to work). The first round was rather awkward as I do not know all of them and my friend was not there, so was kinda a lonerrr there..... They were still kind of helpful occasionally, they would offer their help to carry/move heavy stuffs for me. Although it was just a few days here and there during certain weeks, I get to know them better and things was much much less awkward than the first day. The Youngsters team made me feel excited and energetic to wake up every morning before dawn just to work! They would crack SUPER lame jokes -__- , I think my lameness tolerance level has increased because of them. We would have this short chit chat session when there's no patients. We had lunch together (twice) treated by J Ge (our boss's nickname given by them) where there was a large number of patients. That name sounds cheesy to me! That twice was the most youngsters (friend link friend to work) present. Working in this environment wasn't stressful as you can joke around with the people there. You don't have to act all serious or act like professional and you just have to do the task that was assigned to you on that day.

It would be a long time before I can work with the rest again as the new semester begins! Wish me luck to go through one whole looonnggg sem once again!!!

Jcube

A re-renovated level 2 at JCube has a quirky outlook and lots of signs here and there. I feel that its better compared to the previous one. It's a totally different ambience compared to the other levels once you get up the escalator. They sell crepes on this level too!! Haven't got to try it yet. Crepes were also available at Bugis street but there were always many people and the waiting time was too long. My friends said the new level look like Bugis street and it do kind of resemble it. You peeps should quickly visit it before more people knows about the place!!

This was one cool thing in the middle.

A polished motorbike

                                                    Look at the toilet signs!

Nice corner near the toilet! A graffiti wall.
