Camp turns into Daytime

3 day 2 night Aerobics camp turned into a day camp due to HAZEE which I am kind of elated as there won't be a need to think of what to pack and NO BURDENNS! Just a light-weight bag and off I go!

Typical day 1, ice breaking games and introducing ourselves. Through their brief introduction about themselves and what they did during the holiday, I found that they were the same kind as meee!!

Question: "What is your hobbies?"
Answer: "Drama/ sleep" etc

Question: "What did you do during your holidays?"
Answer: "Nothing much just sleep/staying home after an event"

Answers might not be fully accurate as I forgot some of the sentence

It was quite unexpected to see two guys when I first reached, as I already thought to myself aerobics will just be all girls. They need more guys to join this, so its more equal in gender. Here comes a part of an activity called Circuit. Upon hearing it I didn't know what it meant, after some of the seniors explained about it, we knew it was one of the hell exercises we had go through after our lunch break. It was basically doing different exercises according to stations in one direction. There would be timing for each station, we had to keep doing it repeatedly until the teacher tells us to proceed to the next station.

One of the ice breaking game called, "Honey will you smile for me?" where we were seated in a circle. One person would have to go around and say this sentence to people, one at a time and try to make him/her laugh. If you managed to, then they would replace your position. This was awkward for me as I don't go around saying mushy stuffs like this plus intentionally acting silly or funny to make others laugh. SO I failed to make anyone laughed except for one that laughed easily but I can't constantly pick her. The room was full of silence and the awkwardness in me was building up, spilling over the entire room. It was just pathetic me going around already thinking there was no use of making them laugh with whatever strategy so I am just deadly repeating that sentence and hoping time flies and they would stop the game or call out another person.

For circuit training, we actually have an adult which is a teacher whom guide and taught us the proper way of doing a particular exercise. I am not sure whether those were aerobics exercises. Before we started the circuit, we did a 20 minutes warm up at the gym like on the treadmill or those stationary bicycle before proceeding into a room which was within the gym itself.

Day 1 set of exercises: Hamstrings, planking, squats, some weight-lifting and other exercises which I forgotten the name. ANDD stretching (includes some yoga poses) after all the intense exercises. After the stretching, the teacher and some of the seniors helped us pressed some acupuncture points at the hamstring area while we lied flat facing the floor. Hearing all the hysterical crying of pain LOLL which was rather entertaining when watching until you got to tried it yourself.

Music was blasting through the room while we were doing those exercises. It felt rather tiring and many felt like giving up in the middle of it. The after process was rather satisfying as we managed to pull it through. When doing a round two for the circuit, the teacher said we did better than first round as with have gained more strength but I think its the opposite cause we were losing strength. So, shes might just be trying to encourage us. BUT MEH it felt good to get praised! Everyone looks like they still have the energy to continue so for some instances when I felt that I am at my limit I would still try to force myself to carry on or it might be abit paiseh. OH and if we stopped without doing to the best we can, there would be penalty which we got 21 push ups after the exercise. The funny thing is my push ups can't go down. Whereas, its normally people can't go up. Need to get those demm strength in there. The last part was the best as we get to lie on the mat and just close our eyes and rest, with the soothing music. Recharging ourselves from all the intensity earlier on.

YOU KNOW WHAT.. During lunch break was where we realised with signed up for a AEROBIC TRAINING CAMP not just Aerobic Camp so it was meant to be tough stuff. Mannn I didn't knew it then but I guess I would still go.

-Day 2, haze no camp, end of story-
There would be breakfast together for those who wants and doing yoga poses afterwards! Some said we need to let the food digest for 3 hours before we can start yoga. Woo was disappointed and glad at the same time. Day 2 is usually where the most fun comes from and I was ready to face the challenges that would come in my way. Our muscles was hurting almost everywhere. It starts hurting during the night time. I was still thinking hmm why am I not feeling any aching after all that exercise. BUTTT the mightiness just have to last this short.

Day 3, there was no teacher this time round and we did it in..... what was that place called again? Oh well, its just some air-conditioned room but not too strong. IT'S circuit again but this time round a different group of exercises which are cardio. WOO I like cardio ones as I find that its more effective than just running or those other workouts. Due to our still aching muscles, the circuit this time round was more challenging for us.

Burpees, mountain climbers, high knee kick, skaters, shuttle run. We did this for two rounds in 45 minutes.

The entire process was too, tiring, but was once again glad that I completed it but of course with many occasions where I took short rest in between the exercises. We had PIZZA for lunch after excising! The games were quite alright but I didn't quite like the last day where we played games in separate groups. As we were supposed to bond with each other not create a division. Games like throwing different sizes of coins from a distance into a plastic container and do a skit with a song with the lyrics changed.

It would be better if it can be a 3 day straight training or not...? Good thing is our body muscles could rest for a day. We had BBQ session the next day after our training ended. We would be meeting for 4 days straight! The BBQ food was FOC and it was at sentosa!! The sentosa part was the more lucrative part for me as I have been yearning to go there this year as it was free entry because of SG50!! I had not been there for yearsss!! BUT as we were lingering at the BBQ area, the sky darkens and by the time I finally get to set off and go to the beach it was almost pitch black which was not what I anticipated. SO I NEED TO GO AND HAVE A REAL FULFILLING EXPERIENCE AT THE BEACH again! I didn't have to do much stuffs as our seniors were doing most of the job, cooking and preparing the food for us for the entire day. I ought to learn how to set up the BBQ pit too! Whole day was basically eating and no games were played at all surprisingly.

Got to try or see new kind of food for BBQ like pizza, scrambled eggs, garlic bread, burger, fish, fish balls and they even boiled water to cook the korean spicy noodle. I wanted to try the spicy noodle for quite sometime but didn't had the feel at that point of time and plus so many people was sharing it. One of them mixed marshmallows with scrambled eggs, who would have thought of a combination of that? But I dare not try loll. We left at about 9 plus and on our way out I saw the empty road and of course the typical me suggested to take a shot while lying down on the road. I was expecting a solo shot but ended up a few joined in so it ended up as a group shot. How frequent do you get to lie down on the road!

Da Pizzass!!

Looking like some village

The orh lulu beach but I like the texture of the beach and the softness of it when you stepped on it!
